Well, this has been an interesting week.
Hey everyone, good to email you all again. So this week has been rather slow. Nothing to report as far as teaching goes. However, a fun little activity we did today may make this email a little more exciting.
So today is our day to do our chores (clothes, bathroom, shopping, etc.) and emailing. We were invited to a ward picnic next to the small Watertown Zoo and the food was good; but the best part happened after. So I went to the Zoo with my companion and the sisters in our area with their investigators. As we looked around, there was a male cougar walking back and forth in his cage! We were almost close enough to touch him, but another fence prevented that. As we took pictures of him, he started to purr and "meow!" I was shocked to find out that a large cat like this would "meow" like a common house cat! Anyhow; it was fun and I was glad to be able to do that. We also took a picture with the sisters in a fake Bald Eagle's nest.
We also had our last district meeting in the transfer and took a district picture. Only two sisters are leaving the district; so overall, not much is changing. But it has been a good last few days and I hope that all is well wherever you all are at.
